Dance Instructor
Dance Instructors
Positions available immediately in the Department of Parks & Recreation.
Duties: Instruct ballet, tap, and jazz to children ages 3 and up. Instruct belly dance, salsa, tango or swing dance.
Requirements: Must be able to work with children ages 3 and up. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of three years experience teaching several dance forms to adults and children. Must be able to communicate well with parents and the general public.
Hours: Vary; must be available Saturdays
Salary: $18.08+/hour, commensurate with experience, Grade 109
Location: Herndon Community Center, 814 Ferndale Avenue
