Lifeguards
Positions available in the Aquatics division of the Department of Parks & Recreation.
Duties: Ensure the safety of patrons in and around the aquatic facility. Prevent hazardous situations, enforce pool rules, and act quickly and effectively to emergency situations. Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitary conditions of aquatic facility.
Requirements: Must have current American Red Cross lifeguard training, community first aid, safety, CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer. Must be at least 15 years of age, mature and responsible.
Hours: Vary
Salary: $7.97-11.15/hour depending on qualifications, Grade 104
Location: Herndon Community Center, 814 Ferndale Avenue
