Tom Milenkevich - Fitness Specialist As our new Fitness Specialist, Tom will program and manage the fitness, personal training and group exercise at Herndon Community Center. Tom is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College. Tom has over ten years of fitness management experience and has worked in corporate fitness, parks & recreation and commercial fitness venues. Tom has a strong commitment to customer service, and is enthusiastic about providing for you and your family a host of high-quality fitness programs. Jeff Burden - Personal Trainer Jeff brings over 10 years of fitness and training experience to the department. He holds a B.A. in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jeff is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Clinical Exercise Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer. He is also a USA Track and Field level-1 Coach as well as a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. Nina Rosse-Sands - Personal Trainer Nina is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Fitness Professsionals and Associates (AFPA). At one time Nina was 175 pounds and a size 16. After losing 55 pounds and six dress sizes, she decided to make fitness a lifetime commitment. Lori Allred - Personal Trainer Lori is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council of Exercise. She enjoys teaching fitness classes and training clients one on one at the HCC. She has a passion for wellness and helping others and feels fortunate to have the opportunity to combine those interests to help others reach their fitness goals. Kelly Keaton - Personal Trainer Kelly is a Certified High Intensity Specialist with NSPA. She has a degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech. She specializes in stregth building and conditioning. She hopes to one day open her own High Intensity Training company working with adults with disabilities. Cynthia Strong - Personal Trainer Cynthia is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer/Fitness Counselor as well as a Certified Aerobics Instructor. She has been training for more than 12 years, and teaching group exercise for more than twenty! Cynthia's group fitness experience helps her incorporate a wide variety of disciplines into her personal training - drawing on the best from Pilates, ZUMBA, Body Pump and more.
