The Aquatic Division of the Herndon Community Center has a little bit of everything for everyone. It doesn't matter if you are looking to bring in your 6 month old to get them acclimated to the water or for your child to benefit from being involved in the Commanders swim team, we have programs to suit their age and abilities. For our youth we offer a wide variety of classes to either teach them how to swim or how to develop and refine their strokes. We also know that many adults out there want to either learn how to swim or improve their strokes, so we have many adult instructional classes. In addition, we offer Lifeguard Training courses through out the year.
All of our Aquatics classes are taught by certified Water Safety Instructors. Follow the link below for more information on our Commanders Swim Team or view our Quarterly Brochure to see our seasonal classes.
