2011-2012 Season Team Information
The Commanders 2011-2012 Season is underway! Several of the groups are full already and more are close to being full. Please contact Bruce Andersen for the latest group availability updates. 2011-2012 Season Stroke Evaluations Stroke evaluations for joining the Commanders Swim Team for the 2011-2012 season have already been held.
You must complete a stroke evaluation to join the Commanders swim team. Please contact Bruce Andersen at Bruce.Andersen@herndon-va.gov or 703-435-6800 x2122 to schedule an appointment for an evaluation.
PVS Officials Needed
Commanders Parents: we are looking for people to become part of our core of officials. Please click here to see the attached letter for more information.
Required Equipment
Aardvark Swim & Sport will be at the Herndon Community Center on September 15th from 4-8pm for families to purchase team suits and equipment. All team equipment must be purchased through Aardvark.
White/Red Groups 1. Crossblade Fins - other types of fins will not be permitted in practice. 2. Mesh Bag for wet equipment - swimmers are required to keep their fins and other equipment in the mesh bag except when in use during practice. 3. Team suit/cap/t-shirt - one latex cap and t-shirt provided with paid registration.
Bronze/Silver 3 Groups
1. Crossblade Fins - other types of fins will not be permitted in practice. 2. Catalyst hand paddles 3. Mesh Bag for wet equipment - swimmers are required to keep their fins and other equipment in the mesh bag except when in use during practice. 4. Team suit/cap/t-shirt - one latex cap and t-shirt provided with paid registration.
Silver 5/Gold Groups
