Building Inspections
The Building Inspection Section of the Town of Herndon is responsible for protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the residents and visitors in the Town of Herndon. This is accomplished by enforcing the Uniform Statewide Building Code and requiring permits and inspections to assure the safety of construction. The Building Inspection Staff also oversees a number of programs, including, Neighborhood Inspection Program, Rental Inspection Program, and Backflow Program.
