Projects Currently Under Construction
AT&T Cable Project - Dranesville Road, Madison & Van Buren Streets
Beginning April 8, 2013, AT&T will be working along Dranesville Road, Madison & Van Buren Streets to install new cable service lines. The work is expected to last through December 2013 with minimum disruption to residents and businesses. The contractor will provide advance notice to those potentially affected by the construction activities and will keep residents and businesses informed as they approach their neighborhoods.
Door hanger notices were distributed to affected residents on March 28, 2013.
To minimize damage, the majority of the work will be performed by underground boring behind existing sidewalks and in easements. Please be assured that all disturbed property will be restored to its original condition. Contractors will be working from 8am-3pm off the roadway and, when necessary, 9am-3pm within the roadway. Traffic will be controlled through flagmen as needed.

Dranesville Road Improvements
Construction of the raised median along portions of Dranesville Road between Bennett Street and Tyler Street is now substantially complete with additional landscaping scheduled to take place in the Spring of 2013.

Park and Monroe Intersection Improvements
Design efforts continue on this intersection improvement project. The consulting firm is currently working on the final design plans, which are expected to be ready this fall. The land acquisition phase and utility relocation phase of the project will follow the completion of the project plans. Click here for additional information.
