Traffic Engineering
The Traffic Engineering Center works to provide a safe and high quality transportation system for our citizens and visitors. Through maintenance and improvements of traffic control devices, signage and pavement markings, a safe driving environment with assisted traffic flow is formed throughout the Town. With the assistance of VDOT, the Town has installed a Centralized Traffic Control System which is monitored each work day by this section.
Reporting Traffic Signal and Road Sign Problems
To report a problem with a traffic signal or a damaged or missing road sign please contact the Department of Public Works Operations Center at (703) 435-6860.
