Community Resources
Many resources are available through the Town of Herndon and the County of Fairfax to enhance neighborhoods, promote a community spirit and provide assistance to residents within the Town.

Cultivating Community This program promotes several activities throughout the year to include the Holiday Homes Tour, the Garden Tour, and the holiday home/yard decorating contest. In addition, nominations are accepted for the Yard of the Month and the Good Neighbor Awards. Visit the link above to volunteer and/or participate in these events.
Herndon Community Association Coalition This organization invites residents, community and homeowner associations to participate in sharing concerns within their neighborhoods, discuss solutions and respond to quality of life issues.
Housing Programs The Town's Housing Rehabilitation Specialist, in conjunction with programs offered by the County of Fairfax, assists homeowner with housing maintenance issues. In addition, twice a year, home maintenance seminars are held and an annual Housing Fair is coordinated.
Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center The Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center is operated by the County of Fairfax and managed by Reston Interfaith. The center, located at 1086 Elden Street, offers a variety of educational, health and social services, designed to meet the needs of the Herndon community.
