The Board of Zoning Appeals is composed of five citizens of the Town, each appointed by the Town Council.

All Board members are residents of the Town and are appointed to serve a term of five years, unless appointed to fill a vacancy for an unexpired term. The Board's responsibilities include:

   (1)   hearing appeals of the Zoning Administrator's decisions; and

   (2)   deciding whether applicants should be granted variances from the Town's zoning regulations.

A User's Guide has been developed to assist you in determining if you need to submit a variance or apply for a different type of relaxation of the zoning regulations.

Public hearings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month unless altered by a holiday schedule.  To confirm the application deadlines and public hearing dates, please view the 2010 Information Sheet.

You may view the current month's agenda by selecting the Agenda button from the menu on the left.
