The Herndon Community Center (HCC) is an award-winning fitness and recreation facility and is the perfect place to exercise, swim, play tennis, shoot some hoops, swat a racquetball or take a class. This project is intended to light 2,200 linear feet of the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) Trail from Ferndale Avenue to Crestview Drive in Herndon. Public comment welcome.

Park & Stream Clean-Up
BRING WORK GLOVES AND WEAR SUITABLE CLOTHING. Meet at the main entrance of Runnymede Park. Teams will be assigned to areas in the park or other parks in the Town. You can make a big difference in a short amount of time in a team effort! Also a great opportunity for kids to earn those community service hours. The shred event will take place at Runnymede Park 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. It’s a free event and everyone is welcome.
