The Procurement Division serves all town departments in purchasing required goods and services in accordance with the town budget. The goal is to obtain high quality goods and services at a reasonable cost, ensure that all procurement procedures are conducted in a fair and impartial manner, avoiding any impropriety or appearance of impropriety. All qualified vendors have access to public business and no offeror or bidder is ever arbitrarily or capriciously excluded from competitive procurement processes. All expenditures of public funds must adhere to the policies and procedures of the Procurement Division and the Code of Virginia.

Procurement opportunities exceeding $30,000 are advertised on the Commonwealth of Virginia's eVA Procurement Portal where they may be downloaded and viewed in their entirety. The portal also serves as the town's bidders list for procurement opportunities and includes any updates or addenda for current solicitations.
