MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR THE TOWN OF HERNDON

Herndon, VA (May 12, 2026) – Town of Herndon government offices and services will be impacted by the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 25, as follows:

Town Offices
Closed Monday, May 25.

Memorial Day Observances at Chestnut Grove Cemetery
- Ceremony to commemorate Memorial Day, 10am
- Avenue of Flags, Dawn to dusk (weather permitting). Sponsored by The American Legion Post 184. For more information, call (703) 481-1200.

Recycling Collection
Recycling normally collected on Monday will be collected Tuesday, May 26.

Herndon Community Center
Closed

Herndon Centennial Golf Course
Open 6am – 8pm
