Yard of the Month is an opportunity to recognize the efforts of town residents whose yards contribute to the beautification of the town and its neighborhoods. Winners receive Meadows Farms gift certificates and are recognized by the Mayor and Town Council.

JUDGING

Judging will be conducted by members of the Cultivating Community Committee, a citizen group formed to promote neighborhood beautification and enrich the quality of life in neighborhoods. 

• Only the front yard will be scored for the competition. 
• The yard must be located within the Town of Herndon.
• Winners may be selected in two categories -- single-family detached homes and townhomes.
• Yards which are not selected for the Yard of the Month prize may be re-nominated in successive months.

• June 15 for July award
