Overview 

The Herndon 2050 Plan will be the Town's next Comprehensive Plan and is intended to guide all land use decisions upon adoption until the year 2050.  This will be public driven process and will commence in the Fall of 2025.  A team of staff and consultants will manage the plan development, the Planning Commission will serve as the steering committee, and the public will be actively engaged beginning to end. Check back for updates.

The project website is now live and reach be accessed at www.herndon2050.org.  

The public is encouraged to complete the first of many public surveys and provide comments on a comment map.  These are part of an initial wave of public engagement to help with establishing a vision and direction for the plan. See links and QR code below or visit the project website.
