Overview

The Metro District Early Action Plan is being developing in concert with the Herndon 2050 Comprehensive Plan.  It will serve as a small area plan for the commercial and transitioning areas at the southeast quadrant of the town near the Herndon Metrorail Station with policy direction and land use guidance for future development in that area.  The plan will be written by consultants in coordination with town staff and is steered by the Metro Early Action Plan Committee comprised of various stakeholders.

How to Get Involved

Updates will be provided on this webpage throughout the project and there will be several opportunities to review draft materials and provide your input at either public meetings/workshops or through online surveys.  Feedback can also be provided anytime by emailing community-development@herndon-va.gov.
