Overview 

Downtown Herndon is the Town's historic core and heart of it's unique small town character.  It serves as an important center of activity and identity for the the Town.  The Town engaged in a robust planning effort to envision and frame the long term land use and development objectives for this area.

Implementation

Since plan adoption, three infill projects have been completed including new small lot residential neighborhoods and a mixed use project.  In addition, several existing properties have been renovated under the guidance of this plan. See the Development Activity page for more information.
