The Plan Review team spans several departments but is managed by Community Development. All site plans, subdivision plans, single lot plans, plan revisions, and plat changes are handled through this process.
Most new construction and renovation projects proposed in Town are required to obtain approval by either Herndon’s Heritage Preservation Review Board (HPRB) or the Architectural Review Board (ARB). Single family houses outside the Heritage Districts are exempt from this review.
