The Town is pursuing a reboot of its Heritage Preservation Program. This effort will include district awareness and public outreach campaigns, new historic resource surveys, and a new Heritage Preservation Handbook with new Design Guidelines. Historic Marker Program In 2015, the Town began a local historic marker program to memorialize sites of historic significance. The Town will be installing several markers starting in 2016.
