School may be out, but the fun is still in session! Herndon Parks & Recreation offers camp opportunities throughout the school year to keep kids active, learning, and engaged when classes aren’t in session.
Whether it’s a single day off from school or the extended winter break, explore camp options designed to make the most of time away from the classroom.
School’s Out Camps
Turn a day off into a day of discovery! School’s Out Camps offer engaging activities for kids during select school holidays and teacher workdays.
Current offerings include The Bricks Challenge, where kids use LEGO® bricks to explore STEM concepts through hands-on building, engineering, and problem-solving activities.
Winter Break Camps
Make winter break something to look forward to! Our Winter Break lineup offers several ways for kids to stay active, creative, and connected while school is out.
Choose from Tiny Chefs culinary camps, Winter Break Camp at the Herndon Community Center, and Winter Break Tennis Camp, with options for a variety of ages and interests.
