Herndon Homecoming Parade – Enchanted Forest
Saturday, October 11, 2025 | Parade begins at 9:30 AM
Celebrate Herndon’s community spirit at the annual Homecoming Parade in downtown Herndon! This year’s theme is “Enchanted Forest”, featuring marching bands, floats, and community groups showcasing their school spirit and creativity.
Traffic Adjustments & Road Closures
To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, the following road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect on Saturday, October 11, 2025:

Lynn Street closes at 6:30 AM for stage set-up and to clear parked cars.

Elden Street closes at 8:00 AM from Locust Street to Monroe Street.

Locust Street closes at 8:00 AM from Center Street to Elden Street.

Station Street closes at 8:00 AM from Center Street to Lynn Street.

Spring Street closes at 8:00 AM from Locust Street to Elden Street.

Monroe Street closes at 8:00 AM from Van Buren Street to Elden Street.

Pine Street (north side) will be posted No Parking 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM for Fairfax Connector adjustments.
The parade route will fully reopen following the conclusion of the parade at approximately 1:00 PM.
