The 40^th Annual Mayor’s Volunteer Reception to recognize Herndon’s outstanding volunteers during “National Volunteer Week,” is on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The tradition of volunteerism in Herndon is extremely meaningful to the services and the quality of life enjoyed by our residents. The Town Council and Mayor sponsor this event to extend the Town’s appreciation to our dedicated volunteers who have worked diligently throughout the year to make Herndon an outstanding community and to those who have provided dedicated service through community-wide volunteerism.
