This group comprised of Town residents advises the Town Council on matters related to bicycle and pedestrian safety, quality of service, facilities and infrastructure, advocacy, and policy. In addition to seven citizen appointments, a Herndon Town Council member serves as chair; and a Planning Commission member; an ARB/HDRB member; and staff from the departments of Community Development, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and the Herndon Police serve on the Committee. 

Responsibilities: PBAC evaluates transportation improvement projects in the Town and assists staff with the development of bicycle and pedestrian plans, policies, and standards.

PBAC meets four times annually.  Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday in January, April, July, and October in the Herndon Council Chambers Building (765 Lynn Street) at 7:00 pm.
