Parent or guardian can then escort the child to the Kid Care room to sign them in. The service is free but parent or guardian must be registered and attending an activity that takes place at the Herndon Community Center. Parents or guardians coming in to swim or workout may also use this service if they have paid admission to use the center.

*Parents or guardians may not leave the Herndon Community Center while their child is in Kid Care.

You may reserve a space for your child up to one week in advance. Call 703-787-7300 to reserve a spot. Drop-ins are admitted daily on a space-available basis.

Children 12 months and older will be in a safe and fun environment while you take a class, get in your workout, or enjoy a swim in the pool. Morning and evening hours make an easy fit with your schedule. Sorry, staff will not change diapers.
